MMD-Squadron has announced the 24th annual EagleQuest, to be held June 19 – 20 at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine, Texas. The biggest “Modeler’s Choice” event of its kind, EagleQuest is a celebration of the art of model making with this year’s theme being “Heavy Metal”. Having attended myself in 2010 and 2012, I can personally vouch that this is an excellent show, very friendly and held at a great venue. More details may be foound by following this link.
The second edition of my book, "How to Build Tamiya's 1:32 Spitfire" sold out late last year, so we have taken the opportunity to update the contents with a new Chapter on the recent Tamiya Spitfire XVIe, built by David Johnson. The new revised edition has just arrived at ADH Publishing's office and is available for purchase right now.

Meng has announced the future release of a 1/35 scale German Main Battle Tank Leopard 2 A4, Kit No. TS-016 . This represents a fifth batch vehicle. You can also build a Leopard 2 A4 of the sixth, seventh or eighth batch with parts in the kit. We'll have more information closer to release.
The Model Cellar's first release for 2015 is a 1/32 scale Oswald Boelcke figure as seen in a familiar period photo in front of his Fokker Eindecker. Sculpted by Mike Good.
