Brengun has released a quite extensive detail set to enhance the recent Special Hobby Bell AH-1G kit.

The set comes in two small cellophane bags that are stapled to a card header along with instructions and a black backing paper. The instructions are in Czech and English with neatly drawn diagrams indicating parts fitment.

The components parts are of good quality; with resin replacement air-intakes and a PE fret providing all manner of cockpit and airframe details. There are quite a number of small PE parts to deal with, as well as acetate films that serve as instrument faces. As far as I can tell, Brengun have included a few spares amongst the smaller items.

Brengun’s own images of the parts added to an assembled example of the Special Hobby kit are included as part of this “First Look”.
