More details are available by following this link. 16 January, 2017 I have made a couple of corrections to my review of Kinetic's 1/48 scale F/1A-18A+/B/CF-188 Hornet posted on Friday. In summary, the configuration of two closed nozzles as supplied in the kit is correct; and on upgraded RAAF F/A-18s, a dummy nose wheel bar was fitted (early RAAF Hornets were not fitted with the catapult tie bar, but its absence caused problems with nose wheel shimmy). Also, the Hornet has Leading Edge Flaps, not slats. These changes have been made to the review. 13 January, 2017 Tonight I review Kinetic's new 1/48 scale F/A-18A+/B/CF-188 Hornet, incuding 47 images of the kit's plastic and photo-etched parts, decals, colour schemes and box top.
