Burl Burlingame tells us that IPMS Hawaii has revived its newsletter, Pacific Modeleer, and is making
it available to all in a modern format. The latest issue is available in iBook
format, free from the Apple iBook store. Just search there for "Pacific
Modeleer." Apparently it performs really well on iPads, not so well in other formats, but
it's a toehold. They hope to publish 10 times a year, all free via iBook downloads.

I am pleased to announce HyperScale's brand new 1/144 scale Group Build and Picture Posting Forum, sponsored by Minicraft. Not surprisingly, the subject of this Group Build is 1/144 Scale Kits. Let's see your construction photos as you build your 1/144 Scale kits from all eras, and of any subject, military or civil. We'll look forward to seeing photos of models that you have already built too. You can find the new Forum to the left in the Forum Sidebar (if you don't see the link there, try hitting the "Refresh" button on your browser), or by following this link.
I also spent a bit of time yesterday cleaning up the HTML on a few other Forums, fixing anomalies like incorrect meta tag titles and making the 1/72 scale Group Build Forum window open with the sidebar like all the other Forums.
Following a spate of Spam postings on HyperScale's Ship Chat and Car Chat Forums, and unanimous support for taking positive action, I have introduced a login requirement for those Forums. This should end these annoying postings. If you already have a Network 54 login with HyperScale Group Membership (i.e., you can already post to Plane Talking), this login will work in the other HyperScale Forums too. If you are logged in on Plane Talking, you will stay logged in for the other Forums too.

Sorry for any inconvenience or temporary blindness from the flashing ads!
