Aircraft have always been my struggle, although on occasion I must admit that I do like to give one a go. When a book like this is released, I’m grabbing it. I need all the help I can get!

This publication is brilliant. 200 pages filled with stunning colour photos and easy to understand text, explaining how to achieve great results and try new techniques.

One will learn many techniques from this book from basic painting, detailing, using resin, photo etch, decaling and weathering. Pretty much all you need to start.

There are 7 stunning projects with in the pages being:

• Mig-21 BIS

• BAe Harrier GR.7

• Northrop F-5N

• Sukhoi SU Su-33 sea Flanker

• SEPECAT Jaguar A

• Motor RD-33 (MIG-29)

• F-14A Tomcat

All of these projects left me gasping for air at the quality of them all.

I will say that this book is going to get some heavy use from me very soon, as I have now been inspired to build myself an aircraft of some sorts.
