Hasegawa 1/48 scale
IDF AH-64A/D

by Rafi Ben-Shahar

IDF AH-64A/D

Tamiya's 1/48 P-51B Mustang is available online from Squadron.com for only $26.99!

Description

The AH-64 in the IDF service received the name "Peten" and "Saraf" for the A and D versions respectively. Both were issued by Hasegawa in limited editions.

The Hasegawa's AH-64 is a very nice kit with high quality molding and fine details. Yet, you would require Isracast's supplement, even for the IDF dedicated kits. The reason being that the characteristic external fuel tanks are missing in the dedicated Hasegawa IDF kits.

You get one pair of external fuel tanks for each Isracast kit, but do not bother to compare between the two pairs in the photographs. Both pairs are scratch made and I reserved the original parts for my next Saraf kit
