Eduard Brassin’s 1/72 Spitfire Accessory Sets are available online from Squadron.com

For many, Eduard is a brand synonymous with superb quality; this is certainly the case with the review items, from their packaging and instructions, to the actual components.

The sets reviewed here are designed to complement the best Spitfire Mk.XVI kits in “The One True Scale”, which unsurprisingly are made by Eduard as well. I took a first look at it the Dual Combo boxing of the high-back and bubbletop here on HyperScale.

It should be apparent from the linked kit review that the resin items looked at here, fall into the category of “gilding the lily”; but for some the convenience and qualitative edge that resin parts offer will be worth it in their quest for the perfect Spitfire model.
The sets come in Brassins’s usual robust clear plastic blister pack with sponge cushioning and printed instructions folded within.
I have provided Eduard’s CAD images the scrollable image gallery accompanying this article, and used photo images of the resin items from Eduard’s website as these are a fair reflection of the parts.

Both sets are excellent quality, and offer a slight advantage over the kit components.

I can recommend these items for those with a quest for perfection and the budget to support it.
