Luftwaffe Swastikas

Xtradecal's 1/72 Stirling Mk.II/IV is available online from Squadron.com

These days it is not uncommon for Luftwaffe models to be supplied without swastika decals due to interpretation of European law.

Xtradecal has addressed this challenge with a re-issued full sheet of 1/72 scale Luftwaffe Swastika decals in a range of sizes, styles and colours.

Styles include solid, outline and stencil. Colours are mainly black, but some are also included in grey and white.

The full-scale equivalent sizes are 300mm, 430mm, 540mm, 650mm, 710mm, 810mm, 1085mm and 1350mm. A band of red decal is also provided for pre-war tail markings. This will be especially helpful for the swastikas with the white circle background (also offered on the sheet).

Notes are supplied. These include a list of aircraft types and the typical sizes of swastika worn; plus a key to the size of the decals.

This is a simple but almost essential addition for any Luftwaffe modeller's decal drawers.
