Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-3 Light Fighter |

Here is my Eduard 1/48 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-3 Light Fighter.
All of Eduard’s new generation 1/48 scale Wurgers are great kits and a joy to build and this one is no exception.

I added the Barracuda Studios resin cockpit upgrade set.

The model was otherwise pretty much straight from the box, including kit decals.

Noy's Miniatures 1/48 Luftwaffe Hangar Interior
You might (or might not) recall the Preview a back from 2019 of Noy's Miniatures 2-in-1 WWII Luftwaffe Hangar (Inside) Set. This is a set of 6 prints depicting the inside of a typical WWII Luftwaffe hangar. The prints are on card stock.

I glued these prints to black foam board that I had cut to size, and taped them together for a photo session with my newly finished Eduard Fw 190 A-3.

Lots of fun photo opportunities!
You can check out Noys' catalogue or order the Luftwaffe Hangar Interior on his website
I just love this new generation of Eduard 1/48 scale kits. I'll be writing this one up, including the hangar interior, in a big article for Issue 159 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.
Thanks to Eduard for the sample.
