Ki-84 Hayate

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Ki-84 is available online from Squadron

Here is my Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Frank) in 1/48 scale built straight out of the box using the Hasegawa kit.

Even though I am not very much into Japanese aircraft, I started to build this kit right away after having opened the box. I liked the large amount of crisply moulded parts, and indeed, construction did not create any problems. If I remember correctly, no putty at all was required. \

In my opinion this is definitely one of the best Hasegawa releases ever and does not need any addition i.e. etched or resin parts.

I also wish to than the Japanese SIG of IPMS in the UK. They considered the model worth an award at the Nationals in Telford last year; of which I am very proud.
