At the request of Jules Bringuier of Classic Airframes, I am pleased to present a preview of their latest release, Kit #454, the Polikarpov I-152.

This release will include markings for four aircraft: Republican Spanish, Nationalist Spanish, Chinese, and of course, Soviet Air Force. Retail price is $35 USD.

Kit #455, I-152 with Skis, will include markings for 2 Soviet aircraft and decals and color and marking information to model any of the I-152s operated by Finland.

The kit consists of the usual finely-scribed plastic parts, resin interior and a small but beautifully-detailed photo-etched fret for the cowl cooling gills. Two sets of vacuformed canopies are also included. Options are provided for spatted or unspatted landing gear.

The kit builds nicely into a convincing replica of this diminuitive but historically important aircraft.
