David Doyle Books News #38
It's Valentines Weekend!
Dear Friends,
Denise and I hope that all of you are doing well.
We have a lot of news this week, so I'll dive right in.
First - the computer which I use for my writing - and inventory and order processing - decided it had enough last weekend. After spending two days trying DYI repairs, its now off to professionals. So, this got us a wee bit behind on shipping (and a LOT behind on writing). Thankfully, we do indeed have all the information backed up.
We have pretty well caught up on shipping the backlog of orders, and appreciate your patience.
Second - its Valentine weekend - and we have a fitting sale. We are giving away copies of our Valentine tank book to the first 25 people who place orders of $60 or more. To claim your free book, simply enter the discount code VALENTINE during checkout. Your invoice will reflect a .01 discount, but that will be our trigger to put the book in your box. Do NOT order the book (unless you intend to pay for it.
On top of this - we received several new publications this week, including:
We are also have a couple of NEW BOOK announcements.
First, from Ginter Publishing a new book about Kaman Helicopters, which were a mainstay of the US military's early rotary wing aviation. You can read more and reserve your copy here.
Secondly - we are accepting reservations for my new book about the historic Coast Guard cutter Roger B. Taney. You can read about it and reserve this book here.
Finally - as you may know, Monday is a postal holiday. Further, we leave Wednesday to do a bit of research and attend a show in Marietta, Georgia. So, don't delay in ordering - we want to try to ship all orders before we leave, because while we are on the road, obviously we won't be able to ship.
If you are in the Atlanta area, please stop by and see us - this show will be a bit different for us, we won't have our usual assortment of books, rather, we'll have the latest releases plus some of the countless lightly used books we've accumulated over the years.
Denise and I hope to see you there, and remain grateful for your support.
