David Doyle Books News
New Books in Every Category
Dear Friends,
Denise and I have been enjoying a couple days of fall-like weather, and we hope you have as been as well. Unfortunately, that respite from the heat has passed for us, but we hope it lingers for you a bit longer.
This week we've received a LOT of books - many new titles, plus several restocks. The details of this will follow a bit later in this newsletter. But first, we're are announcing a special sale from now through midnight Monday August 26.
One hundred thirteen years ago today British Prime Minister H.H. Asquith held a secret meeting with Admiral Sir Arthur Wilson and Field Marshall Sir Henry Wilson to discuss a strategy to combat Germany in the event war would break out. In remembrance of Asquith's early (by three years) inkling that preparations were in order, we are offering 10% off our already low prices on all in-stock books in our WWI Aviation and WWI Ground categories. No discount code is needed, the additional 10% will automatically be deducted during checkout.
As mentioned, we've gotten a number of new publications in this week, including:
Panzer Tracts 22-1
Curtiss XF15C-1 “Stingaree”
AFV Modeller 138
Dioramag 16
Military Modelcraft International
Scale Aircraft Modeling
Fantasy Figure International
In addition to the new publications listed above, we've also received restocks of numerous publications, including:
Abrams Squad
Warpaint publications
Modeling the M551 Sheridan
Desert Sand and Jungle Mud
AJ Savage in Action
Legends of Warfare
Schiffer Books
If the above is not enough, we are expecting even more publications early next week. Until next week's newsletter, follow our DavidDoyleBooks Facebookpage for updates.
Unfortunately, it seems the more books we get, the more that are damaged. Please check out our Dented but Still Good page to see mildly damaged, but perfectly readable books at a big savings.
Denise and I are blessed to have your ongoing support, and we truly appreciate your loyalty.
Sincerely,
David and Denise Doyle
