David Doyle Books News
The savings continue
... and a LOT of new books are coming!
Dear Friends,
Denise and I are happy to say that temperatures here have dropped slightly, and we hope that they have for you as well - and more importantly, that none of you are suffering from the hurricane.
Thanks to your great response last week, we've made some headway in making space for all our new books, but we still have a way to go.
So, this week we continue our 30% off "out with the old, in with the new" sale - now featuring all our Ampersand publications. This includes the Ampersand Military Machine, Visual History, Allied-Axis and MMiR publications. To be clear, this sale does not apply to the VERY similar looking Emfour publications. This means the sale excludes Allied-Axis 34, 35, 36, US Dodge, and the Visual History books on the Mack, D7, B-17 and 88 books. Despite these eight exclusions - there are still a LOT of books (over 50 titles) included in the sale. No discount code is needed for this sale, your discount will be applied automatically during checkout.
On other fronts - like some (most) of you, in the past I've bought the same book more than once. Well, now I've carried this mistake to a whole new level, and I've duplicated an entire order from PeKo! This of course did nothing to ease our overcrowded shelves, so from now until midnight Monday we are offering 10% off our entire stock of the Peko line. But, to take advantage of this offer you'll need to enter the discount code Peko during checkout. Sale limited to stock on hand.
We've also received some damaged books - plus some books were damaged at the IPMS convention. We are offering these books at discounted on our Dented but Still Good page. While there are a variety of books damaged, thankfully (for us) there are not many of each - so don't delay.
We've been restocked on Defending Normandy, as well as the Tiger tank operators manual Tigerfibel, the AFV Photo Album #1, Tom Lamlein's Flak, as well as several other books.
Finally, this week we have begun taking reservations for a number of exciting forthcoming books.
These include a massive new book from Tankograd on the Soviet KV tanks, Steve Ginter's new book about the Curtiss Stingaree; Dioramag 16; Through the Lens 4; and the SU-122.
While our reservation system requires no money down, we place our orders (and spend our money) based on these reservations. While we do understand sometime unforeseen circumstances force a cancellation - please be mindful that by the time you get an email notification that the book you reserved is ready to ship, we have actually bought the book.
For those that don't know, we post new book announcements on our website, and on our DavidDoyleBooks Facebook page as we get the info - so check in often so as to not miss out on the latest news!
Denise and I remain thankful for your ongoing support!
Sincerely,
David and Denise Doyle
