Beaufighter Mk.21 A8-96 “SK-M” was generally crewed by Warrant Officer C.R. McLeod, pilot and Flight Sergeant M.J. Paige, navigator. It’s tail insignia comprised three dice with the words “set in the guts”, which appeared on both sides of the rudder.

Colour Schemes
All five aircraft on this sheet were Australian manufactured D.A.P. (Department of Aircraft Production) Mk.21s. They were finished in overall Foliage Green manufactured by the BALM paint company. BALM S13983 was equivalent to FS 34092. This
paint weathered rapidly in the tropical conditions under which the Squadrons operated.
Two tiger decals for the nose are included; one is a spare.
References show all aircraft in good condition and only slight scratching around hatches, etc. Propeller bosses were black with dark green caps. Propeller blades were black with yellow tips. Cowling ring on A8-23 was heat discoloured white, while all others (the No.93 Sqn aircraft), were burnt metal.
