Advantages:

Perfectly printed; crisp surface textures; obvious improvement compared to plastic kit seats; belts are printed in place; simple removal and cleanup from printing base.

Disadvantages:

No painting guide.

Conclusion:

These are both gorgeously detailed replacement seast for for the Airfix Jaguar.

Mini Craft Collection from China has been busy lately with new releases in their range of 3d printed seats and accessories for aircraft.

 

 

Tonight I will be reviewing two 1/48 scale ejection seats in Mini Craft Collections' growing range.

 

 

 

The sets arrive in small stout silver tins.

The resin parts are protected in individual resin enclosures.

For both the sets I spent a few minutes partially freeing major parts from their resin cage using a good quality pair of sprue cutters, then carefully removed smaller fittings with a new hobby blade.

 

 

The small parts are genuinely tiny and may fly off into the jaws of the dreaded carpet monster if you don't take care.

Both the seats are crisply and incredibly detailed.

Anyway, rather than simply repeat how exquisite each of these seats are, I will let the pictures tell the story!
