Catalogue Number, Description.

Eduard Item No. 73855 - F-35C for Tamiya Kits

Scale:

1/72 scale

Contents and Media:

Double set of photo-etched frets; instructions.

Review Type: FirstLook
Advantages: A superbly detailed pair of frets that not only fit the Tamiya kit but could be used elsewhere.
Disadvantages: None noted beyond the need to take care with removing some tiny parts from their frets. Colour details could have been handy..
Recommendation:

This is a superbly detailed set of parts that will enhance the Tamiya kit and probably those of other manufacturers.

FirstLook

Designed to enhance the Tamiya kit, but again, many parts could be used on other kits of this aeroplane.

Two frets are provided in the usual clear resealable plastic sleeve with card inserts to avoid damage to the frets. The smaller one is coloured and will enhance the front and side panels, belts and cushions on the seat, and all manner of tiny levers and wheels.

The second, larger, unpainted fret provides a mass of petals for the exhaust, some surface panels, missile pylon details and cockpit rails and fittings. No painting details are provided.

As with most of these sets, they are designed to really enhance a basic kit and a skilled modeller should produce a cracker of a model using these parts.

If this aircraft is on your workbench then these sets come highly recommended.

Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
