IBG’s 1/72 Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 kits already feature impressive cockpit detail, but Eduard's “LOOK+” Instrument Panel, Harness, Exhaust and Main Wheel set offers a quick and easy way to take the kit a step further.

The LOOK+ set comprises one colour printed photo-etched fret, four 3d printed grey resin parts, one coloured 3d printed part, masking sheets and instructions.

The single piece coloured 3d resin instrument panel looks good for its small scale.

Also included are three grey 3d resin parts. Two are for the exhausts.

These are very impressive - highly detailed and featuring weld seams and hollowed out exhaust stacks.

Next up are the two main wheels. Detail again is superb. Seams and sidewall lettering add to the textures of the wheel hubs and their tiny raised bolt heads.

The etched harness is worthwhile. The thin metal straps are finely rendered and may be gently bent to reproduce the natural drape of the belts over the seat. At 1/72 scale, this subtle increase in finesse will make a visible impact.

The straps and hardware are pre-painted onto the fret, including stitch and buckle detail.

Masks for the canopy and wheels are also included.

Eduard's Fw 190 D-9 LOOK+ set is a simple but effective upgrade for IBG's kit.

The combination of pre-painted 3d printed resin detail grey resin and fine photo-etch and adds a level of refinement.

For modellers seeking to maximise cockpit detail of their IBG Dora without embarking on a major aftermarket project, this set will be a canny choice.
