Eduard has released a range of accessories for this year's 1/48 scale ICM Handley Page Hampden kit.
Tonight I review two of Eduard's useful upgrades.
3DL48266 SPACE - Hampden B.Mk.I for ICM kit

Eduard has produced a SPACE upgrade sets for ICM's very nice 1/48 scale Hampden Mk.I kit
The SPACE set under review comprises 3D printed decals for the harness straps, instrument panels, radios and smaller detaiils.
Hardware - buckles, anchor points, adjustment loops and anti-chafing pads are moulded direct to the straps, making assembly a breeze. Half-tones and stitching is quite clear.

I have used SPACE sets on several of my projects and I have been very pleased with the results. The 3D printed decals look really good in real life - better than my much larger-than-life studio photos!

I found that the 3D decals barely needed to be wet at all before they would slide - or sometimes fall - off the backing sheet. I used Gator’s Grip acrylic glue to secure the 3D printed decals to the plastic kit parts.
Detailed instructions are included.
491579 - Hampden B.Mk.I for ICM kit

Eduard's photo-etched upgrade offers super detail with one colour photo-etched fret and one brass etched fret providing detail focused on the instrument panel and cockpit

The colour fret is packed full of detail.

More detail is offered on the brass fret too.
This will be a very visible update for your 1/48 scale ICM Hampden Mk.I.
The use of the photo-etched frets or the 3d printed SPACE package will result in a noticeably upgraded cockpit, especially for the instrument panel and harness straps.
These are very worthwhile investments for your ICM 1/48 Hampden Mk.I kit.
Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
