This 1/35 decal sheet offering from AOA Decals covers US Naval Air Station Search & Rescue (SAR) MH-60S helicopters. Also included is a bonus for the east coast MH-60S fleet replacement squadron's Navy Aviation Centennial retro Korea War era scheme.
The set comes in a thick zip locked bag, which protects the decals from damage. Airframe stencils in correct colours are provided for each aircraft in the set. Complete airframe data and markings are provided for one SAR aircraft, including hoist data plates, interior door decals, rotor hub and blade markings, and more (an additional airframe data sheet is also available to purchase separately, see 35-007).
Although the decals are intended for the Kitty Hawk MH-60S kit, the vast majority of decals are not kit specific and would also apply for the Academy kit.
The decal sheet is printed by industry leader, Cartograf of Italy, which ensures top printing quality and ease of application. The instructions on 4, double sided glossy heavy paper sheets are printed in colour with helpful annotated notes where needed. Of those 8 pages, 2 are dedicated to the application of aircraft stencils, and 5 pages of the various marking schemes for the aircraft with plenty of helpful notes included.
The decals are printed in perfect register with great definition and strong colour by Cartograf, and we know they will go on perfectly and settle down exquisitely.

This is a large set of decals from AOA Decals covering 9 different airframes of SAR MH-60S’s in ultra high-viz schemes. They include 2 pairs of schemes for the same aircraft at different time periods. I am sure they are sized correctly and will be most suitable and they have me seriously thinking of using it on one of my Academy kits.
These AOA decals are highly recommended.
