Rockit Studio, 1/72 scale

The Sukoi S-35 Flanker is a very updated version of the Su-27, reaching service with the Soviet forces in the early 1990s and still operating in front-line service.
An outstanding feature is its ability to perform remarkable manoeuvres at low altitudes and speeds, an ability its pilots are all to keen demonstrate at airshows.

A number of fine kits are available for this aircraft and Rockit Studio’s new set of exhaust enhancements will allow the modeller to add some real finesse to the rear end of the plane, an area that injected parts just cannot do full justice to. Apparently it is designed to fit the GWM Hobby kit.
This 1/72 set appears to be a new direction for Rockit as it seems that up until now most of their accessories have been larger scale, 1/48 and 1/32.

The set of four nozzles is 3D printed in dark grey resin and comes in a small strong clear plastic lidded box which will be useful for storing all kinds of small bits and bobs later.

The parts allow the modeller to represent either open or closed nozzles and each has a beautifully delicate efflux mechanism to place inside. The delicate edges are protected by an external box structure which has useful scratch-building possibilities.

There are no instructions or painting details, something that other modelling reviewers have been critical of but which is not so important for these items. Assembly would be straightforward and hinting would be shades of exhaust colouring.

If this is your area of modelling interest and you have suitable kit then this nozzle set come highly recommended.
