I will deal with these two accessories together.

The Soko J-22 Oroa (Eagle) was developed as a joint Romania-Yugoslavia project for a simple, tough aircraft using local skills, equipment and avionics in the 1970s. It was designed to be a light fighter, ground attack and trainer aircraft and served with distinction in small numbers in a number of former Slavic states, with Serbia the only one to continue its use.

Liatki launched its 1/72 range of beautiful kits with a pair of Sukoi Oraos early this year and were reviewed by myself back in February. I made mention then that the kits provided well-detailed plastic cockpits, enhanced with PE and decals. These would satisfy most of us but for those modellers who really want to set off their model with super-detailed interiors, then Litaki have produced the two lovely interior sets, one for each variant.

Each set comes in a strong, small top-opening box containing the parts in a couple of zip-lock bags, with small clear envelopes for he tiny PE sets and clear film for the sights. There is an A5 instruction sheet which basically locates each part and advises the use of CA adhesive as the components are resin. No colour detail are given since they are provided on the kit sheets.

The parts are printed in a dark grey resin and are supported/protected by the usual mass of pillars which are fine enough to be easily removed. Warning!! - there are two tiny control sticks/knobs that can easily by accidentally disposed of as they look like extra pillars - I would recommend getting them off the platform containing the ejection seat/s first!

The detail in each piece is exemplary and, after the usual wash to remove any printing gunk, all knobs and bobs are there and will benefit from careful painting and dry-brushing. Each variant is provide with a floor, bulkhead/s, side consoles and instrument panel/s . No side-wall detail is provided.

The PE and clear sheet (providing four screens since they are so small and easily wrecked when cutting out) make up the weapon sighting screen.

This is a great little pair of enhancements and if you have already obtained these kits then they come highly recommended.

Thanks to Litaki for the sample
