Flight Line Resin is a Phase Hangar Accessories brand created by Richard VanZandt.

Flight Line Resin has released a set of 1/48 scale Super Hornet landing gear legs. This set will be suitable for the Meng or Hasegawa F/A-18E, F and EA-18G kits. Main wheels and nose wheels are included.

The legs are compressed to represent normal ground operations. Flight Line Resin also offers an extended in-flight landing gear set separately.

The set comprises eleven parts in grey 3D printed resin.

The main landing gear legs are supplied in one piece each, even including hydraulic lines, and appear to be ready to install with almost no preparation required.

Remarkably, the nose gear is also a single 3d printed part.

This is a remarkable feat of design and technology.

The landing gear legs have the usual 3D printed attachment points, narrowing as they come closer to the actual parts. This is a fast and easy cleanup.

I have already removed all the attachment points from the landing gear legs and some from the nose gear.

The wheels look great with radial tread and raised lettering on the tyre sidewalls.

Wheel hubs are separate parts on one side, making painting easier.

Detail on all parts is crisp and comprehensive.
