Conversion Sets for

Freightdog Models has released two upgrades and conversions for the very nice 1/72 scale Airfix PR Mk.XVI & B Mk.XVI Mosquito kits.

They are:

FDR48M01 - Mosquito B Mk.XVI (H2S) for Airfix Mosquito B Mk.XVI

The first is a conversion to a 1/72 scale Mosquito B Mk.XVI (H2S).

This set comprises eight pieces in conventionally cast pale grey parts:

• H2S Instrument panel

• Bomb doors

• H2S fairing

• Fuselage blanking plate

• Petrol cooler intake

• Camera ports

• Replacement solid nose

Casting quality is excellent and only minimal preparation work should be required.

Detailed instructions including text and colour photos will help complete your conversion.

FDR72151 - Mosquito PR.34 Conversion Set for Airfix

Freightdog continues the theme with their Mosquito PR.34 converion based on the Airfix 1/72 Mosquito PR Mk.XVI.

Ten pieces of cream coloured resin make up this set.

Slipper tanks, broad tail surfaces, anti-shimmy tail wheel assembly, petrol cooler intake and the new bulged bomb doors are the highlights here.

Replacement clear vacform noses and smaller details are also included.
