Contents and Media:

Photo-Etched Sets - pre-painted and unpainted photo-etched detail parts.

LOOK - pre-painted resin parts and photo-etched harness straps.

SPACE - decal instrument panel and cockpit detail plus photo-etched harness straps.

Mask Set - self-adhesive, die-cut masks for clear parts and wheels.

Review Type: FirstLook
Advantages: High level of detail that will result in an even more impressive ICM 1:48 scale B-26B Marauder.
Disadvantages:
Recommendation:

The use of the photo-etched fret will result in a noticeably better detailed cockpit, especially around the instrument panel and side consoles. The addition of the photo-etched harness straps will also be a highly visible upgrade.

The ZOOM and SPACE sets offer a valid alternative to photo-etched parts alone.

The masks will save time and add sharp precision to the clear parts on this glasshouse canopy too!

These are very useful investments for your ICM 1:48 scale B-26B Marauder.

FirstLook

Eduard has produced a range of accessories for the recent ICM 1:48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.

Tonight I review six of Eduard's useful upgrades for this nice kit.

481144 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-26B Exterior for ICM kit

One photo-etched fret is supplied.

This focuses on wheel bays and other fine exterior details.

481145 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-26B Bomb Bay for ICM kit

This set also includes one large photo-etched fret. As the name implies this one focuses on thebomb bay..

Once again, a wealth of detail is offered.

491454 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-26B Marauder Cockpit & Nose Interior for ICM kit

This time we have two frets - one pre-painted and one brass plated.

The coloured etch features a new instrument panel, throttle quadrant, knobs, switches and much more.

The big brass etched fret has bulkheads, seat frames, ammo belts and more.

644273 - Eduard LOOK - B-26B Marauder for ICM kit

This LOOK set has a resin pre-painted instrument panel.

Also included is a really nice 3d printed throttle quadrant with all the detail produced as a single part - very impressive!

Photo-etched harness straps are also supplied.

3DL48183 - Eduard SPACE Photo-Etch - B-26B Marauder for ICM kit

This SPACE set has a 3d printed instrument panel.

Also included is a really nice 3d printed throttle quadrant with all the detail produced as a single part - very impressive!

Photo-etched harness straps are also supplied.

EX-1044 Masks - B-26B Marauder for ICM kit

Die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the kit canopy and wheels.

These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.

Conclusion

The use of the photo-etched fret will result in a noticeably better detailed cockpit, especially around the instrument panel and side consoles. The addition of the photo-etched harness straps will also be a highly visible upgrade.

The ZOOM and SPACE sets offer a valid alternative to photo-etched parts alone.

The masks will save time and add sharp precision to the clear parts on this glasshouse canopy too! These are very useful investments for your ICM 1:48 scale B-26B Marauder..
