Xtradecal has just released a new 1/48 scale decal set that covers six 1/48 scale F-4G "Wild Weasel" Phantom options.

 

 

These should be suitable for the Meng, Zoukei-Mura or Hasegawa F-4G "Wild Weasel" Phantom kits.

 

 

A nice variety of camouflage and markings are offered, including two shark mouth options. Subjects are finished in SEAC, European One "Lizard" and two-tone grey low-viz schemes.

  2. McDonnell F-4G Phantom II, 69-7580 of 90th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, based at Clark Air Base, Philippines, September, 1988.

  3. McDonnell F-4G Phantom II, 69-0263 of 4404th Composite Wing, 81st Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing, based at Dhahran Air Base, Saudi Arabia, Feburary, 1993.

  4. McDonnell F-4G Phantom II, 69-7251 of 90th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, based at Clark Air Base, Phillipines, September, 1988.

  5. McDonnell F-4G Phantom II, 69-7561 of 561st Tactical Fighter Squadron, 37th Tactical Fighter Wing, based at George Air Base, California, USA, August, 1986.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets.

Both side views and upper and lower views are provided.

 

 

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.
