Xtradecal has just released a new 1/48 scale decal set that covers eight 1/48 scale Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc subjects in perfect time for the lovely new Arma Hobby kit.

 

 

A nice variety of interesting colours are markings are included.

    1. Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc, BD929, 'ZY.S' of 247 (China-British) Squadron, Royal Air Force, based at RAF Exeter, UK, 1942.

    2. Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc, serial possibly Z3574, 'OK.2' personal aircraft of Air Vice Marshal Keith R. Park, AOC Malta, Royal Air Force, based at RAF Luqa, Malta, October/November, 1942.

    3. Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc, LF534, '6H.C' of 1688 Bomber Defence Training Flight, Royal Air Force, based at RAF Newmarket, UK April, 1944.

    4. Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc, BE500, 'LK.A' of 87 Squadron, Royal Air Force, based at RAF Tangmere, UK, August, 1942.

    5. Hawker Hurricane (Met) Mk.IIc, serial unknown, '50.X' of 521 Squadron, Royal Air Force, based at RAF Docking, UK, September, 1944.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets.

Both side views and upper and lower views are provided for all eight subjects

 

 

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.
