Xtradecal has just released a range of brand new 1/48 scale decals covering the Avro Anson Mk.I. This will be ideal for the impressive all-new Airfix 1/48 scale Anson released last year, but will be equally relevant to the old Classic Airframes kit.

Today we are examining Part 3.

 

 

Six subjects are offered.

 

A nice selection of interesting colours are markings are included.

Details are as follows:

    1. Avro Anson Mk.I (Early), '20', of No.1 Reconnaisance & Medium Bombing Squadron, Irish Air Corps, based in Ireland, 1937.

    2. Avro Anson Mk.I, AN-102, of Le.Lv.48, Finnish Air Force, based in Finland, 1942.

    3. Avro Anson Mk.I, 'N56', of Royal Hellenic Air Force, based in North Africa, 1941.

    4. Avro Anson Mk.I (Early), '158' of 3rd Air Division, Estonian Air Force, based at Tallinn Airfield, Estonia, 1936.

    5. Avro Anson Mk.I (Early), 1134, 'C2', of South African Air Force, 1939 - 1940.

    6. Avro Anson Mk.I, of Hava Mustesarligi Air School, Turkish Air Force based at Eskil�ehir Airfield, Turkey, 1940

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one double-sided A5 sheets.

Both side views and upper and lower views are provided for all six subjects

 

 

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

 

A slightly smaller second sheet provides additional markings.
