Bullseye Model Aviation, 1/48 scale

P r e v i e w

Bullseye Model Aviation presents details of their next 1/48 scale releases.

This is what's at print now, ought to be a few weeks before release...

These will be exclusively available in the USA from Sprue Brothers and elsewhere internationally from The 48ers:

48-030 covers the early period 357th FG P-51B/Cs. No particular kit to be used, the noses all have the plain white nose band and spinner as an ETO theater marking.

Included are "Bud" Anderson's 1st "OLD CROW", the original "GLAMOURUS GLEN", Bill McGinley's "TYPHOON MCGOON", 357th FG Commander Harry Spicer's "TONY BOY", Don Bochkay's "ALICE in WONDERLAND", Pete Peterson's original "HURRY HOME HONEY", later Group Commander Don Graham's aircraft with a Malcolm Hood, Tommy Hayes' 1st "FRENESI", Joe Broadhead's "BABY MIKE" (a mystery that got solved right here on HyperScale), Harvey Mace's 1st "SWEET HELEN, and Davis Perron's "LITTLE BITCH".

Anyone who studies 8th AF P-51s or the 357th FG knows most of these names, and it's now possible to build an accurate model of their early aircraft.
