Resin2detail produces 3d printed resin parts in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scale for a wide range of WWII aircraft upgrades.

Today we will be looking at three simple sets that are designed for the B-17 Flying Fortress kits.

They should apply equally to the Monogram, Revell or HK Models' 1/48 scale B-17 Flying Fortress kits.

Each set comes packed in a small, stout carboard box with soft packaging.

All the parts are 3D printed. They are flawlessly presented:

R2D48014 - Fast Fix B-17 Flying Fortress Cockpit Seat Upgrade No Belts

First up is a pair of pilots' seats. These are moulded without harness straps, so you can choose your favourite belt option.

Thes are printed in one piece each and both are attached to the single printing base.

The seats are presented with seat and backrest cushions. Detail on the rear of the seats is very well done too.

The seat itself is commendably thin.

R2D48060 - Fast Fix B-17 Flying Fortress Boomerang Aerial Antenna Upgrade

Next is a replacement Boomerang antena upgrade.

This is also perfectly printed and detailmis very fine. it looks like a tiny spider!

This will be a simple drop-fit replacement for clunky plastic bits.

R2D48159 - Fast Fix B-17 Flying Fortress Pitot and Aerial Mast Upgrade

The final B-17 upgrade review for today is a replacement pitot and aerial mast.

These are printed onto a single resin block.

This is another crisply detailed and simple upgrade for your favourite 1/48 scale B-17 Flying Fortress.
