Ki-84 Hayate
cockpit enhancements for Arma Hobby
Eduard SPACE,
1/72 scale
Reviewed by Graham Carter
Designed for the ARMA Hobbies kit this set comes in a substantial clear sleeve with a stiff card backing and consists of nine printed resin placards fro the instruments and a four-piece coloured photo-etched fret for seatbelts and engine controls. Inside is a small instruction sheet to explain where al the parts go.
Be aware that the resin placards should not be cut with a knife but will easily slip off the backing sheet and can be attached with either PVA or super glue, the former being more forgiving as far as placement is concerned.
Details are extremely fine as becomes the scale, but they will certainly improve the look of the kit’s cockpit. Recommended to the modeller of Japanese aircraft.
