Eduard has produced a range of accessories for the recent 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-4 Weekend Edition kit.
Tonight I review three of Eduard's useful upgrades.
648862 - Eduard BRASSIN Bf 110 G Radio Equipment.
Eduard has produced a set of radio equipment for the rear cockpit of Eduard's recent 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-4.
The parts are cast in a very dark grey coloured resin.
Production quality is perfect. Detail is very well done.
Dials, switches, stencils and more are pre-painted onto the three resin parts.
The three radio face parts are each printed on a strip that should be quite easy to remove with a razor saw and clean up with a sanding stick.
This radio equipment will make a real difference to the cockpit of your Eduard Bf 110 G-4.
FE1368 - Eduard Zoom Bf 110 G-4 for Eduard Weekend Edition kit.
Even the entry-level Zoom series offers super detail with one colour photo-etched fret providing detail focused on the cockpit.
Specifically, the set supplies a replacement layered instrument panel, side consoles, throttle, switches, knobs and more.
Two sets of harness straps are included too.
This represent great value for the Bf 110 G-4 cockpit.
EX963 - Eduard MASK - Bf 110 G-4 for Eduard Weekend
Die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the canopy and wheels.
These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.
The BRASSIN radio equipment will be a quick and noticeable improvements over the plastic parts.
The use of the Zoom photo-etched fret will result in a noticeably better detailed cockpit, especially around the instrument panel and side consoles. The addition of the photo-etched harness straps will also be a highly visible upgrade too.
The masks will save you a lot of time and add sharp precision to the clear parts.
These are very useful investments for your Eduard 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-4 Weekend Edition..
Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
