Eduard has released a number of accessory sets for set of lowered landing flaps for its own 1/48 scale A6M3 Type 22 and 23 Zero kits.
These include two resin and photo-etch landing flap sets. These sets comprises six parts in grey 3D printed resin, six parts on a photo-etched fret and instructions.
The flap well is made up from a photo-etched ceiling on each side plus 3D printed resin supports.
These are detailed with a number of aditional photo-ethced parts.
The dropped flaps are made up from an impressive single resin piece for each side.
The 3D printed parts are attached to their blocks by fine strips. Tese will be quickly dispatched with a hobby knife and a sanding stick.
Instructions are supplied on a single folded paper sheet. They are fully illustrated and easy to follow.
The folding wing tips are made up from two resin parts plus two photo-etched parts.
The resin parts are thoughtfully packed into a sturdy clear plastic case.
Assembly looks very straightforward.
These will be interesting ways to customise your Eduard 1/48 scale Zero kits.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples.
