Eduard has expanded their range of accessories with a multimedia SPACE upgrade set for ICM's Bristol Beaufort Mk.I kit. This will also be suitable for the ICM Beaufort Mk.I kit.
3DL48094 - Beaufort Mk.I SPACE for the ICM kits
This SPACE set comprises 3D printed decals for the instrument panel, radio faces and placards, plus photo-etched parts for the half-tone harness straps and throttles.
I used a couple of SPACE sets last year and I was very pleased with the results.
I found that the 3D decals barely needed to be wet at all before they would slide - or sometimes fall - off the backing sheet. I used Gator’s Grip acrylic glue to secure the 3D printed decals to the plastic kit parts.
Detailed instructions are included.
Item No. EX908 - Beaufort Mk.I MASK for the ICM kits
These are die-cut, self-adhesive imasks for the canopy, turret, windows and wheels of the recent ICM 1/48 scale Bristol Beaufort Mk.I and Mk.IA kits.
Masks are included for the early and late-style windscreens.
Full instructions are provided.
These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.
This SPACE set offers an alternative to the plastic parts as supplied in theICM kits. It will result in a well-detailed cockpit in ICM's 1/48 scale Beaufort kits.
The mask set will take the pain away from a time consuming and often unliked modelling task, especially masking the intricate glasshouse canopy frames of the Beaufort.
Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
