Advantages:	Accurate; high level of detail; perfect printing; includes de Havilland and Rotol spinners; simple cleanup and installation.
Disadvantages:	None noted.
Conclusion:	This is a highly visible and easy correction of the de Havilland and Rotol spinners in the Airfix 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.Vb and Vc kits. Well worth the small layout.

Barracuda Studios has just released a correction set for the de Havilland and Rotol spinners in the Airfix 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.Vb and Mk.Vc kits.

Barracuda's 1/72 scale Spitfire Vb / Vc Corected Spinners set comprises spinner caps and base plates for the de Havilland and Rotol propellers.

The Airfix Rotol spinner is too long, and the de Havilland Spinner is too bulbous.

You can easily see the shape errors in these comparison photos.

The set comprises four parts in grey 3d printed resin.

The quality of all the parts is exemplary. I can't find any striations or other printing artefacts on the 3d printed parts. Detail is crisp.

Printing quality is superb and cleanup should be pretty straightforward for anyone who has worked with 3d printed resin parts before.

Text is accompanied by captioned photographs of the resin parts under construction.

The more accurate resin parts are pretty much a drop-fit replacement for the kit's plastic parts.

This is a highly visible and easy correction of the de Havilland and Rotol spinners in the Airfix 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.Vb and Vc kits.

Well worth the small layout.
