Barracuda Studios has released a bunch of new resin replacement wheels, including these two sets for P-51 Mustang kits. One set has diamond tread and the other has block tread tyres.

These are conventionally cast and beautifully detailed - little jewels in 1/72 scale. Raised lettering and seams are cast onto the sidewalls, while the ten-hole wheels hubs are crisply rendered.

The wheels will suit almost all 1/72 scale P-51 kits from prototype through to the P-51K (not the P-51H though - that had smaller main wheels).

 

 

 

Specifically, the two replacement resin wheels sets are:

BR72499 - P-51 Mustang Block Tread Mainwheels. USD$5.50

 

 

These are both simple yet delightful finishing touches for your various small scale Mustangs.
