Barracuda Studios has released a bunch of new resin replacement wheels, including these two sets for Fw 190 A-6 through A-9, F, D. One set has a ribbed tyre tread and the other has smooth tyres.

These are conventionally cast and beautifully detailed - little jewels in 1/72 scale. Raised lettering and seams are cast onto the sidewalls, while the wheel hubs are chock-a-block with detail.

 

 

 

Specifically, the two replacement resin wheels sets are:

BR72488 - Fw 190 A-6 through A-9, F, D Main Wheels - Ribbed. USD$5.50

 

BR72489 - Fw 190 A-6 through A-9, F, D Main Wheels - Smooth. USD$5.50

The smooth tyres aren't completely smooth. They have radial seams that are perfectly reproduced on these small scale examples.

 

 

These are both simple yet delightful finishing touches for your various small scale Wurgers and Doras.
