Advantages:	Individually numbered masks; time saving, high quality masks for accurate painting; speedy solution for an often unloved task (painting canopy frames); some sets include masks for wheels.
Disadvantages:	None noted.
Recommendation:	Hands up everyone who loves cutting and applying canopy masks from tape. Anyone? Thought not! ASK's growing range of die-cut, self adhesive masks will be a fast and easy way to get accurately painted canopy frames and wheel hubs.

FirstLook

Art Scale Kit seems to be a reasonably new company but their range of products is rapidly expanding.

Amongst these are their growing "Scale Mask" series. These are die-cut, self-adhesive masks on yellow "Kabulki" paper - a slightly flexible material that will allow enough flex to sit down into recesses or cope with curves, yet remains rigid enough to keep their shape.

Most releases are available as either One Sided or Double-Sided. Not surprisingly, single sided sets cover the outside of the canopy, while the Double-Sided sets provide masks for the inside as well as the outside of canopies.

It is nice to be given the choice.

All sets have numbered masks making it easy to keep track of where you are.

ASK has sent a bunch of masking sets for review. I have broken them down by scale. Tonight we start off with six new releases in 1/48 scale. These are all Double-Sided:
