Hasegawa's 1/32 scale
P-47D-28 “Eileen”

This is my 1/32 scale Hasegawa P-47D-28 RA finished in the markings of Frank E. Oiler’s “Eileen 42-28878” from 78FG/84FS based in Duxford  (1944).

Cockpit modifications are:

• Aires cockpit set

• Yahu instrument panel

• Eduard seat selts

• I used the front part of the Quickboost engine set with the correct Trumpeter’s magnetos from my spares box.

• Lead wires were also added.

• Other replaced parts are EaglePart wheels and Quickboost gun barrels.

Paints are Gunze Sangyo acrylics.

Nose checkers have been painted by masking (Montex set for Trumpeter kit).

Decals are from Cutting Edge CED32086.
