Gates 35 Learjet

Description

With the advent of turbines called turbofan, which are quieter, more economical and more powerful, Learjet, planned to launch a new Learjet, based on the type 25 design. of which it made its first flight in August 1973.

Soon after, the manufacturer would launch a long-range "twin brother" that was the Type 36. Compared to the 25, the 35/36 differed externally in the engines, and the fuselage was slightly larger in cm. Improved versions were the 35A and 36A, launched in 1974, and both types were in production until 1994.

Assembly

This great model from Hasegawa is of excellent molding, with few parts and precise fittings.

It didn't need much kneading, just adding weight to the bow.

Painting

This model came to be made in two paints from the manufacturer's demonstrator. I ended up choosing the main one, which are in white and mustard, separated by blue and red colors. It also has the stylized number 35 on the vertical flat part.
