Following TAKOM’s announcement of their new tool AH-64 series of Apache helicopters in 1/35 scale, attached please find images and information relating to the first three releases.

As with some other recent projects, TAKOM have again collaborated with the Chinese “fan-made-for-fan” designer SNOWMAN MODEL.

Arrival is expected in late January/February 2023

AH-64D Apache Longbow. Kit No. 2601

Formidable close combat attack helicopter designed and built in the United States. Prototypes first flew in 1975, production aircraft entering service with the US Army from 1986.

The upgraded Apache Longbow followed in 1997 and is the version represented in the Takom model kit.

New tooling. Full cockpit & interior, detailed weapons load. Folding rotor blades (approx diameter in flight mode 418.2mm). Photo-etch parts included.

Choice of 3 markings.

AH-64E Apache Guardian. Kit No. 2602

US AH-64E Apache Guardian Attack Helicopter Advanced variant of the American close combat attack helicopter introduced by the US Army from 2013.

New tooling. Full cockpit & interior, detailed weapons load. Folding rotor blades (approx 418.2mm diameter in flight mode). Photo-etch & 3D printed parts included.

Choice of 2 markings.
