Decarli Model's 1/72 scale Preview
Cessna 172

Decarli Model has sent images of the parts, packaging and a finished model for their forthcoming 1/72 scale Cessna 172.

A new 1/72 scale Cessna 172 is coming to the market.

This is a resin model, but very simple to build - the modeler does not have to glue the windows individually as they are completely with a transparent polyurethane ceiling.

The ARII plastic model, which is about 40 years old, is still commonly sold, but it looks more like a semi-scale model.

The new Cessna has the essentials in the interior, ie seats, dashboard, "rams" and side upholstery.

The kit contains markings for USAF and Iraqi Air Force.

The model is made in a very limited series of 90 pieces. After the sale, others will not follow.

For comparison, the ARII model is no longer produced in the photo below.
