ZOOM Photo-Etch, Seat Belts and Masks for Meng's 1/48 scale kit

Here are three new Eduard releases for Meng's very nice1/48 scale F/A-18F Super Hornet kit.

Eduard offers two photo-etched sets and masks:

FE1253 - F/A-18F Photo-Etch ZOOM

This is Eduard's ZOOM photo-etched fret for the Meng F/A-18F, comprising one pre-coloured fret.

These contain detail parts for the front and rear cockpits.

The colour fret supplies instrument panels, side consoles, switch panels and smaller details.

Instructions are included.

FE1254 - F/A-18F Seat Belts STEEL

Eduard offers a set of STEEL harness straps for both seats of the Meng 1/48 F/A-18F.

Colours look good and the straps feature half tones for realistic shadow areas.

Anoher nice touch is that the fret has colour printing on both sides. This is especially useful for the straps and pull handles.

Although the STEEL label makes these sound rigid, they are in fact very thin and flexible.

EX840 - F/A-18F MASK

These are die-cut, self-adhesive imasks for the outside of the Meng 1/48 scale F/A-18F canopy.

Instructions are provided.

These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.

The photo-etched sets will add an extra dimension of detail to the cockpits of your Meng 1/48 scale F/A-18F Super Bug with minimum effort.

The masks are a precise and easy solution to an often unloved task.
