This set is designed to be fitted to the recently released Eduard kit of the S-199 but from what I can gather could be fitted to other earlier members of the German-built Bf 109 family.

From a perfunctory perusal of images on the ‘net it appears that it was used on both the Czech and the Israeli aircraft.

The set comes in a slim top-opening cardboard box holding a zip-lock bag holding the twenty-one resin pieces and another with the decal sheet.

A small instruction sheet details the assembly and painting sequence. There are sixteen tiny, and I mean TINY, resin tubes to be glued between the bomb fins and painted silver to contrast with the dark green bombs.

These parts are on a block with protective ends that have not worked all that well as two or three of them had separated from the base. They will have to be painted before removal as they are so small.

To accompany the bombs are a set of equally diminutive decals - red stripes and some stencils. Application of these nicely printed items will be taxing but will certainly look the ant’s pants.

This accessory is recommended to those of you two would like to arm one of these lovely Eduard kits and have better eyesight, manual dexterity and painting skills than I!

Thanks to Eduard for the sample
