for Eduard's 1/72 scale kit

3D Printing is a huge bonus to modellers, even those who will never buy a machine of their own.

3D printing has allowed companies like Eduard to offer very limited run accessories to a superb standard of detail and production that would have been impractical in other media.

Here are six new Eduard releases for their own lovely 1/72 scale Avia S-199 / MEZEK kits:

672285 - S-199 Exhaust Stacks PRINT

Eduard has produced a 3D Printed set of exhausts for their new Avia S-199 / MEZEK kits.

The parts are printed in grey coloured resin. Production quality is perfect.

Detail is gorgeous with weld beads and raised ends on each stack. The stacks are hollowed out at the ends too - quite remarkable in this small scale.

The parts are handed left and right.

The two exhaust parts are printed on a small tower of strips that should be fast and easy to remove with a new hobby blade and clean up with a sanding stick.

This set of exhausts will make a real difference to the nose of your S-199.

672285 - S-199 Wheels PRINT

This one is even easier!

This set of two main wheels feature fine and consistent raised seams on the sidewalls. The seams do not extend to the tread area, which is logical considering the wear that the rubber tyres would be subjected to.

Very fine raised lettering is present on the sidewalls too.

The brake and hub detail is beautifully done.

Self-adhesive die-cut painting masks are also included.

The kit's plastic wheels and tyres are nice but these 3D Printed replacements are undeniably superior in all respects.

These four new decal sets are pretty self-explanatory.

Two of the sets provide national markings for Czechoslovak and Israeli markings.

The other two sets supply stencil markings for Czechoslovak and Israeli S-199s.

Although the Dual Combo kit supplies enough decals for two full aircraft, these aftermarket decals may be used for Eduard's Overtrees versions or other brands of S-199 kits buried deep in your stash!

These 3D printed accessories will be the crowning glory on your new Eduard 1/72 scale Avia S-199 / MEZEK. Detail is stunning.

The decals will be very welcome for Eduard's sprue-only Overtrees versions
