Mosquito Wheels
for Tamiya kits

Eduard BRASSIN, 1/48 scale
Reviewed by Brett Green

Eduard has released a set of wheels for Tamiya's 1/48 scale Mosquito family.
Inside the resealable plastic bag are seven parts in light grey resin, one part in white resin plus a masking sheet and instructions.

The resin parts have lovely detail cast in place.

The main wheels feature subtle flattening and bulging.
The tyres are cast with separate hub faces on the left side and a block ttread pattern with raised sidewall detail and lettering.
Two styles of left hub faces are included - solid and five spoke.
The tail wheel is the solid anti-shimmy type.

A hard white resin tail wheel strut is also included.

Casting blocks will best be tackled with a razor saw.
Instructions are supplied on a single folded paper sheet.
Eduard's BRASSIN wheels will be a luxurious and easy finishing touch for your Tamiya 1/48 scale Mosquito.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples.
