F-4B Refueling Probe
for the Tamiya kit
Eduard PRINT, 1/48 scale
Reviewed by Brett Green
Eduard has released a set of 3D printed refueling probe for Tamiya's gorgeous 1/48 scale F-4B Phantom II.
Inside the resealable plastic bags are two parts in grey resin plus instructions.
The resin parts have exquisite detail raised and recessed cast in place. This is superior to the detail on the kit parts. Just lovely.
As usual for 3D printing, the resin parts are attached via multiple attachments although fewer than you might expect - only three or four, depending what you are counting. These will be very fast and straightforward to remove.
Once the parts are removed from their printing strips, they will be a drop-fit replacement for the kit's deployed refueling probe.
Instructions are supplied on a single folded paper sheet.
Eduard's 1/48 scale 3D printed refueling probe will be a luxurious finishing touch for your Tamiya 1/48 scale F-4B Phantom II.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples.
