Eduard has expanded their range of accessories for Tamiya's 1:48 scale P-47D Bubbletop.
Although they were first released 20 years ago, Tamiya's Thunderbolt family remains the best in 1/48 scale and certainly worthy of investing in after-market parts..
3DL48078 - P-47D Bubbletop for Tamiya kit
This SPACE set comprises 3D printed decals for the instrument panel, switch and fuse panels, placards, plus photo-etched parts for the half-tone harness straps, intakes and more.

I used a couple of SPACE sets last year and I was very pleased with the results.

The 3D printed decals look really good in real life - better than my larger-than-life studio photos!
I found that the 3D decals barely needed to be wet at all before they would slide - or sometimes fall - off the backing sheet. I used Gator’s Grip acrylic glue to secure the 3D printed decals to the plastic kit parts.
Detailed instructions are included.
EX882 - P-47D Bubbletop TFace
These are die-cut, self-adhesive imasks for the inside and outside of the Tamiya 1/48 scale P-47D Bubbletop canopy. The wheels are covered too (no pun intended).
Instructions are provided.
These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.
The use of the SPACE set will result in noticeably improved cockpit detail in Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop kits.
The masks will provide a faster and easier painting solution for this often unpopular task.
