Designed for the Mark 1 kits this 75 x 50mm phoo-etched fret contains parts to enhance the interior and undercarriage of two model Hawker Tempest Mk.Vs and comes in the familiar clear sleeve with a black card backing and enclosed instructions.
There are also two sets of wheels for the models in grey resin.
There are a few truly tiny pinoles in the resin but these will be easy to fill.
There are two complete sets as the Mark 1 kit contains two models. The instructions are on an A5 sheet and show the folding and locations of all parts, some of which replace kit parts.
The resin wheels are for both the early and the later styles of wheels.
Parts include a fold-up interior with frame details, seat, belts, instrument panel, seat frame, pedals(!), undercarriage doors and jacks, tailwheel bay and door.
There are no colour details given but I would assume the interiors will be “aircraft interior grey-green”. These will add an extra dimension to your model and I can see quite a few models being completed with these in place, although careful painting will be the order of the day.
This will be a very useful set that will enhance any of the Mark 1 Tempest kits in 1/144 scale.
