It is perhaps surprising that Tamiya's lovely 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 kit does not feature separate elevators.
Barracuda Studios has now addressed this omission.
If you would like to pose your elevators drooping, this set will alow you to do just that.
This is a simple conversions made up from just three parts in cream coloured resin. Casting quality is perfect and trailing edges are impressiveky sharp.
Parts include a full-span horizontal stabiliser and two elevators that are handed port and starboard.
Cleanup and installation will be fast and simple. The horizontal stab has been designed to be a drop-fit replacement for the kit part, and once in place the elevators may be posed to taste.
Full colour instructions are included.
This will also be a natural companion to Barracuda Studios' Bf 109 G-6 / G-14 Variants Conversion set reviewed elsewhere on HyperScale.
Barracuda Studios' 1/48 scale stabiliser and separate elevator set is a high quality, simple to install update for Tamiya's superb 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6.
